抄録

本稿では,労働組合の経済的効果について,1990年後半から2000年初頭のデータを使用して実証分析をおこなった.賃金効果と雇用調整に対する効果について検討した結果,賃金については,組合企業のほうが高くなっており,雇用調整については組合企業のほうで速くなっていた.この結果は,1990年代前半までのデータを用いた先行研究の結果とは逆になっている.すなわち,賃金効果が無しから有りへ,そして,雇用調整速度は組合企業のほうが遅くなっていたのが,逆に組合企業で速くなっている.このことは,経済環境の変化によって組合効果も変動するということを示している.

abstract

This article empirically analyses economic effects of labor unions by using data from the latter half of the 1990s to the early 2000s. Studying wage effects and employment adjustments, it is found that wages are higher and employment adjustments are accelerated in the union firms. These are contrary to the results of the previous researches with the data of the early 1990s. In other words, wage effects varied from negative to positive and employment adjustment speed that was slower became contrary faster in the union firms. This shows that labor union effects also fluctuate based on changes of economic environments.
