本稿では，無限効用流列の優劣評価に対する公理的分析として，社会的選択理論において得られているいくつかの結果について概観社会的選択理論において得られているいくつかの結果について概観し，公理から演繹される優劣評価としての世代間正義原理について検討を行う．特に，世代の不偏的処遇を要請する匿名性公理に焦点を当て，いくつかの異なる匿名性公理の下で導かれる無限効用流列の優劣評価はどのようなものであるかを中心に検討を行う．また，公理的分析から得られる結果とジョン・ロールズが提示した反照的均衡との関連性を指摘し，本稿で概観する公理的分析の諸結果が反照的均衡にある世代間正義原理を模索する上でどのような重要性を持つのかを論じる．

abstract

In this paper, we review the recent development of the axiomatic analysis of evaluation of infinite utility streams in social choice theory and examine intergenerational justice on the basis of the evaluation relations deduced from a certain set of axioms. In particular, we focus on axioms of anonymity, which postulate that generations must be treated equally, and clarify permissible intergenerational justice principles for different anonymity axioms. Further, we discuss that the axiomatic analysis of evaluation of infinite utility streams has relevance to the reflective equilibrium proposed by John Rawls, and we examine the implications that the axiomatic analysis of evaluation of infinite utility streams have for the search for equilibrium intergenerational justice principles.
