　本稿ではCOVID-19下での求職活動について、記述的考察を行う。ハローワーク業務の中で収集された業務統計である職業安定業務統計を用いることで、毎月の有効求職者数の遷移について記述する。さらに分解分析を用いることで、変化の要因についても議論する。結果、2020年において有効求職者数は大きく変化している。緊急事態宣言中の4－5月においては低下する一方で、宣言明けの6月において急上昇し、その後も高止まり傾向が続いている。また分解分析の結果、6月の急上昇については、新規求職者の増加の貢献が大きく、それ以降については新規就職件数の低迷の貢献が大きいことが明らかになった。

abstract

This paper describes the job search activity with COVID-19 in Japan with administrative data from the public job placement office (Hallow work). This data can describe the monthly dynamics of job seekers. Additionally, the decomposition analysis is employed. Our description shows that the dynamics of job seekers is changed in 2020. The number of job seekers is decreased in April and May; the number is significantly increased after June. Decomposition results show that the reason is an increase in new seekers in June and a decrease in the job-finding rate after July.
