抄録

　COVID-19が人々に与えた影響について，（1）仕事，（2）教育，（3）健康の3つの論文をレビューし，パンデミックは「偉大な平等主義者」ではなく，これまで社会で弱い立場にあった人々に対して悪影響を与え，既存の社会的不平等を拡大する傾向を示した．そして，日本で2015年に始まった「中学生と母親パネル調査」の概要と特徴を説明した上で，19・20歳の若者に対してCOVID-19が与える影響について分析を行った．その結果，次のことが示された．（1）仕事については，COVID-19は学生の働き方（アルバイト）に特に大きな影響を与えていることが明らかになった．（2）教育については，2019年12月と2020年7月の間に，学校や授業についての否定的な回答が増加し，それは授業の方法によって大きく変化はなかった．（3）健康については，特に女性で精神的健康状態が悪化していることが示された．

abstract

This paper reviewed three types of research on the impact of COVID-19 on people regarding work, education, and health. The results demonstrated that the pandemic tends to negatively affect disadvantageous people in society and increase existing social inequalities, rather than being “a great leveler.” After introducing and characterizing the data from the Panel Survey of Junior High School Students and Mothers, which began in Japan in 2015, I analyzed the impact of COVID-19 on youths aged 19 and 20. The results are as follows. First, COVID-19 affects the employment rate, especially for students. Second, students’ negative evaluations of their schools and the lectures they take increased between December 2019 and July 2020. Further, this pattern did not significantly change depending on the types of lectures. Third, mental health worsened, especially among women, between those two periods.
