概要

　本稿は，1965 年に実施された「団地居住者生活調査」のデジタル復元により構築された個票データセットの特性と意義を検討する．この調査は，神奈川県内の6つの団地の居住世帯を対象に実施され，対象団地は日本住宅公団，神奈川県住宅供給公社，および神奈川県営・川崎市営の設置主体別を網羅している．調査内容は，平日および休日における夫妻の24 時間の生活時間調査を中心として，平日・休日の子どもの生活時間，耐久消費財の所有状況，家事の外部化状況で構成されている．現時点でこのデータセットを利用した二次分析による計量歴史社会学研究は，戦後日本社会の「総中流」認識の基底をなした生活時間構造を抽出し，この階層的に標準化された原型がポスト高度経済成長期から現代に至る生活現象・生活問題の淵源となっていることを見出している．今後に向けて夫妻と子どもの生活時間を含むダイアド・データの特性を活用した分析など，さらなる展開可能性を提起した．

Abstract

This paper examines the characteristics and significance of the digitally reconstructed microdata set derived from the “Survey of Apartment Complexes Residents' Lives,” conducted in 1965. The survey targeted residents of six apartment complexes in Kanagawa Prefecture, including those managed by the Japan Housing Corporation, the Kanagawa Prefecture Housing Supply Corporation, and public housing complexes operated by Kanagawa Prefecture and Kawasaki City. It focused on married couples’ 24-hour use on a weekday and a holiday. Additionally, the survey investigated children's time use on a weekday and a holiday, the ownership of durable consumer goods, and the outsourcing of housework. This paper reviews the current quantitative research findings in historical sociology derived from secondary analyses utilizing this dataset and discusses potential future analytical avenues to pursue using it.
